It has been 25 years since they last updated the company logo, but Microsoft feels now is the perfect time to throw it ‘out the window’. The new revamped Microsoft logo has replaced the four colored ‘wavy’ symbols with squares—similar to the Windows 8 logo. The typeface has also been changed to the ‘Segoe’ font—the same font they use in their products and marketing communications. According to Microsoft’s Jeffrey Meisner, he said that this is one of the many changes the company will be making in anticipation of their Windows 8 launched.
